How to spend your time

One of the most well-known attractions in Sylvan Lake is the Wild Rapids Waterslide Park, one of the biggest outdoor waterparks in Alberta, with a variety of waterslides for all ages and comfort levels. Of course, if you’d like to spend a day in the water that’s a little more relaxing, you can drop by the lake itself and lounge around on the beach, go for a swim or spend a day sailing.

In August, Sylvan Lake is home to the Jazz at the Lake Festival, with live shows from major jazz performers.

Lakeshore Drive offers a range of shopping and restaurant options all by the waterfront, while Railside Bowling and Landmark Cinemas are just a couple of your notable indoor recreation options.
