With a population of 2,167, Turner Valley is also the sister town of Black Diamond a mere 3 km away.

Turner Valley is the perfect gateway to Kananaskis Country, with great opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, nature watching, camping and fishing. With its location on the Cowboy Trail, it’s also a great place to take in some historical sites and scenery as well. Golfers can head over to the Turner Valley Golf Club, while swimmers can venture over to Dr. Lander Memorial Swimming Pool to get in a few laps. Turner Valley is also less than 10 minutes away from the Millarville Racetrack a centre of events for rodeos, farmer’s markets, and horse racing.
