Further Opportunities

Pro Bono Law Alberta offers many ways for law students, articling students and lawyers to get involved in pro bono service throughout Alberta. There are volunteer opportunities at authorized pro bono clinics and with Volunteer Lawyers Services anywhere in the province.

Volunteer Alberta’s Serving Communities Internship Program (SCiP) - helps students volunteer with a non-profit organization. Click here to see what’s available.

Alberta Justice has a page which outlines why you should take articles with the Ministry, but many of these benefits are also experienced in communities outside of Edmonton and Calgary.

Global Affairs Canada has a portal to a number of internship opportunities, both nationally and internationally.
